My wife and I had the pleasure of going to see and meet one of my favorite bands, Train. They did not disappoint. Really nice guys!
The Story
I am a big music guy (in my head). I worked in the music business for years as a sound engineer, touring manager, label support, etc… Qualifications aside, I have always loved music. Every now and then a band or an artist will come along and restore my faith that there are still REAL musicians in the world that understand the craft and do not treat it as a mold.
Brandi Carlile is one of those artist.
It has been a long time since I have been moved listing to a album. ”The Story” is a mixture of folk, rock and country. Beautifully controlled vocals, excellent musicianship all around. She is now in my current top 5… feeling very “High Fidelity”

Radiohead in Dallas
I was lucky enough to go to Radiohead in Dallas the other evening. Really, really good live. Great multi-media band. Was cussing myself for not having a better camera with me. The iPhone did not do such a bad job though.
