Since I was a kid, I have been trying to take pictures of lightning. I am always at the ready. I was lucky the other night that I was able to setup my Canon 5D on my front porch to capture lightning. It took about 30 exposures before I finally captured the above picture.

Through my job, I get to meet some really incredible people. For me, being with Barack Obama during his campaign was a night I will not soon forget. This picture was taken last year, not long before he was elected. I am amazed I recieved it. Nice suprise.
