Lightning Photography
Since I was a kid, I have been trying to take pictures of lightning. I am always at the ready. I was lucky the other night that I was able to setup my Canon 5D on my front porch to capture lightning. It took about 30 exposures before I finally captured the above picture.
Opening Day
Here is to Baseball opening its season today. Another season of mediocrity for my Texas Rangers? I am hopeful today, ask me again tomorrow
Texas Capitol Rotunda
My wife, the REAL photographer in the family took this shot. So, cool!
Apple Orchard
I was recently driving through southern Pennsylvania and came across this apple orchard. Hundreds of acres of rolling hills of these trees.
Cold Day in Washington
2º in DC today. Not extremely happy about it, I could not feel my face! Had to get this shot.
Lincoln Memorial
This was a shot I took last summer on a business trip to DC. This photo is a blend of 3 exposures, HDR
Harvard Fall

Visited the great Nicco Mele on Wednesday. He gave me the tour of Harvard. The campus is all inspiring and very beautiful.
Golf at night

My wife, brother-in-law and myself went out for a little night photography experiment a week ago, or so. It was extremely dark, apparently you need to have at least a little moon light to get shots that are not so grainy. The exposure on the picture above is in the 2 min range. We used 2 sb-28dx speedlights with wireless slaves and a mag light for lighting up the flag. It was a fun evening. I will post more images when I get the chance.
Golden Gate Bridge
Just posted a new set to Flickr from my San Francisco trip. I know, I am such a tourist!
