I was quite colorful and dramatic. The clouds glowed orange as the sun was going down. One of my favorites in a while. #clouds365 #sunset #friscotexas

The stratocumulus clouds had a circular pattern to them this morning in Frisco, TX and they were lined up in a row (undulatus). This is a 12 image stitched panoramic shot to show how cool the sky looked.

You could see the rotation and feel the energy in this one. A wall cloud was dropping at the bottom. Did not produce a tornado, but what a amazing sight! #stormchasing #clouds365 #kansas

Undulatus asperatus clouds (Billow clouds) look like ocean waves moving above your head. Awesome to watch. They appeared right before the heavy rain started in Frisco, TX this morning. #clouds365 #stormclouds

Used my Canon 70-200mm lens to capture the fascinating light and color in the clouds as the sun hit the horizon. This one does look like it is painted! #clouds365 #sunsetphotography #colorful #friscotexas http://www.clouds365.com/2-17-13/

Ducks in formation flew into my frame while I was capturing these cirrus clouds tonight in North Texas. I was only out there for a few minutes when it happened. Made the sunset even more special. #clouds365 #sunsetphotography #birdsinflight

Two long exposures stacked in Photoshop CS6 to create this image. The lightning was close and constant – Canon 5D M3 with 16-35mm lens on bulb mode with remote trigger, ISO 500, f5.6 #clouds365 #lightning #stormchasing

The sun did not break through, but the low clouds were still painted with light and color. Crazy looking. My best guess of the blue color is rain. I was sprinkled on waiting on the sun, then the sky glowed. #clouds365 #twotoned #sunrise #dailyphotography
