Re-working some of my favorites images from earlier this year getting ready for upcoming shows. (Will announce when / where soon) This one was East of Paducah, TX around sunset.  Watched this self cloud move over us, then promptly left. The teal color you see indicates hail, the white streaks under the storm is the hail shaft. This storm was sucking up red clay from local fields giving it this crazy color. Amazing day! #clouds365   #stormchasing   #lightning   #supercell   #westtexas

It is a amazing sight to watch a supercell form and produce a funnel cloud right in front of you. Witnessed that earlier this year  in Sterling, Oklahoma Can't officially call it a tornado, because I can not confirm it hit the ground, but the rotation was fast and tight. We were hit with RFD and had to move quickly. #stomchasing   #clouds365   #supercell   #oklahoma

I would almost call it strange. A cold front followed by storms and heavy rain hit this morning. I was a grey cold day until the sun broke through at the last possible minute. It took me by total surprise. Wonderful eerie orange glow. Welcome, Fall   #clouds365   #rain   #sunset

Earlier this year, I chased storms in and around the beautiful Gypsum Hills, Kansas…

Earlier this year, I chased storms in and around the beautiful Gypsum Hills, Kansas with my friend +Jim Reed. This was one beautiful sunset, the colors and the lightning was amazing. I loved this shot, but the power lines always bothered me. I left them in when I originally posted this shot. For fun, I spend a couple of hours taking the lines out with Photoshop CS6 and my Intuos tablet from +Wacom Americas  (must tools for detail work like this). I like this image it so much better.
