Intercepted this supercell outside of Matador, TX. This storm was tornado warned at one time and produced baseball size hail. I have the ring in my windshield to prove it! Met up with my friends on Tempest Tours expedition and ended up in Dumont, TX watching this beautiful scene. What a storm! #clouds365  #stormchasing  #supercell  #lightning

Intercepted this beautiful tornado warned supercell in West Texas outside of Robert Lee on Memorial Day. Mike and I found this great view overlooking the valley. Set up on top of my Tahoe to get a even better view for a panoramic shot. Captured a landspout outside of Channing, Texas this afternoon during a severe warned storm. What a surprise! It was on the ground for close to 6 mins. Weather meta: base velocity showed a couplet for 2 scans with 2 TVS markers. We were pretty much alone on this.
