This tornado warned storm highlights its dynamic structure, complete with a large bell shaped mesocyclone and inflow band. One of my favorite storm chase images I have ever captured!

They are amazingly beautiful when they are out on the Plains. I chased with my friends Mike, James, Dylan and Mallory this incredible supercell in Courtney, Oklahoma this evening at sunset. This was one beautiful, dramatic storms I have seen in a while. It was tornado warned when I captured this panoramic image. I loved the lightning striking though the inflow band. This was our first real look at the supercell outside of Throckmorton, TX earlier this month. As it moved closer, the base was lowering, lightning was very frequent, wind was getting stronger and cooler. Love these moments. #clouds365  #stormchasing  #supercell  #lightning

The sequoia trees in Kings Canyon National Park are amazing. Especially at dusk when the fog moves in.

Powerful storms in the Frisco, Texas area last Thursday. This had to be one of the more impressive sights. Fast approaching storm with a long shelf cloud. It was in front of the storm looking like a wave building as it approached. This particular cell produced up to tennis ball sized hail in our area! #clouds365 #storms

What a crazy weather day in North Texas yesterday! The dryline stalled over our area breaking out powerful storms for most of the afternoon, practically in my backyard. I was headed towards Denton, TX when this storm went tornado warned. This was about as close I was going to get. Thank goodness it became outflow dominant before it formed a tornado. Powerful winds and hail did some damage from this storm. Hope all is ok. #clouds365  #stormchasing  #texas

Chased this LP supercell on April 1st this week. Found this fantastic view just outside of Throckmorton, TX. This storm was tornado warned and reportedly produced up to tennis ball sized hail.
