The back edge of this supercell outside of Dalhart, Texas had beautiful mammatus clouds. Yes, I broke one of Scott Kelby's rule of having train tracks in the foreground, but I could not help myself :)  With my buddies +Mike Mezeul, +Toby Harriman and +Michael Shainblum.

It actually appears to be a face in the clouds. Pam+Bama

Cool, if you turn the photo upside down it looks like sea waves. I tried it on my phone works for half a second :)

Yes, this is a wow shot!  I've seen these kinds of clouds in New Mexico.  :)    I like the train tracks!

I like the train tracks - they point up to the clouds

Rules, and recipes, are merely suggestions. If no one ever deviated, then we'd always be doing the same old, same old, and it would be pretty boring. Nice shot (never heard of that type of cloud before - awesome).

Saw my first mammatus clouds here in Ohio about a week ago. They're so cool! Fabulous pic Kelly!
